In (Home Sweet Heaven) he belts over Switchfoot-like guitars about riding in trucks and getting hurt as a kid during his treasured golden youth. Still, mixed somewhere between the grit and radio polish, he displays his depth in (Bless the heart of God), a simple and timeless song of vertical praise to God.
